This two-bedroom apartment overlooks gardens and sits 150 metres from the sand at Watergate Bay Beach on the North Cornwall coast. Families and couples seeking a beach holiday built around surf, coastal walks, and beachfront dining are well placed here. Watergate Bay stretches for 2 miles, drawing surfers and thrill-seekers year-round, while a watersports academy on the beach runs lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and kite surfing. The beach is exposed to incoming Atlantic swell, making it an excellent spot for catching waves. The coast path runs along the clifftops towards Newquay's seven bays in one direction and Mawgan Porth in the other, opening up routes for long rambles or shorter jaunts. Music festivals and surf competitions take place at Watergate Bay throughout the year, and restaurants and cafes line the beachfront.


Access to the apartment is through the main front door or a private side entrance into the decked area. An open-plan living area sits at the centre of the space, with comfortable seating, a dining table for four, and a well-equipped kitchen along one side. Patio doors open from the living area onto the decked area, letting natural light flood in. A TV, DVD player, and iPod dock with radio and CD are available in the living area for evenings in. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and its own en-suite shower room with a shower enclosure and WC. A second bedroom offers a zip-and-link bed that can be set up as a super-king or configured as a twin – a flexible arrangement that works for families or those sharing. This bedroom is served by the family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, a WC, and a heated towel rail. Underfloor heating runs throughout the apartment.


The decked area overlooks the gardens, enclosed and accessed through patio doors from the living area or via a private side gate. Table and chairs provide a spot for al fresco dining.
