Watergate Bay is a great spot for surfing, bodyboarding and kite surfing, lying in a quiet spot just north of the vibrant resort of Newquay (3.5 miles). Heading north towards the Trevose Headland, idyllic highlights include Mawgan Porth (2.5 miles) and Bedruthan Steps (5 miles). To the east the vibrant harbour town of Padstow (12 miles) is famous for its array of fabulous restaurants.
