Up to five guests can stay in this airy and stylish property for a trip filled with lazy beach days, coastal strolls and trips to the nearby lively surf town of Newquay (3.5 miles).

Climb the stairs to reach the first floor of the property, where the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner benefits from elevated sea views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. A sliding door opens onto the glass-fronted balcony with furniture. Inside, tones of blue and grey fill the space with wooden furnishings and contemporary lighting. On one side of the space is a flame-effect electric fire with a Smart TV surrounded by armchairs and a sofa. Behind is a painted wooden dining table and a fitted ‘U’-shaped kitchen unit with glossy cabinets and white countertops. On the ground floor are two bedrooms – an en-suite super-king-size room with a rolltop bath, a TV and patio access, plus an en-suite king-size zip-and-link room with a pull-out trundle bed. Outside is a patio garden with furnishings, a storeroom with a wetsuit rack and an outdoor shower. There is private parking for two cars.

Start your time away with a dip in the sea at Watergate Bay beach (250 metres) and explore the South West Coast Path to reach the Lucky Elephant Rock (1 mile). Head into the Cornwall National Landscape to see National Trust Carnewas at Bedruthan (4 miles) and Trevose Head Heritage Coast (11 miles).
