Set right beside the sand at Widemouth Bay, this three-bedroom coastal house places families, friends, and surf lovers directly beside one of north Cornwall’s wide sandy beaches. Part of a small development of six houses, it has been designed to sit sensitively within the coastal landscape, with the beach reached across the lawn, through a gateway, and down six steps. Widemouth Bay is known for its open skies, sandy shoreline, craggy cliffs, and surf conditions suited to beginners and more experienced surfers, with lifeguard cover throughout the summer season. Other activities available along this stretch of coast include coasteering, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, canoeing, bike hire, and archery. The coastal town of Bude is 3 miles away, with a choice of shops, restaurants, and activities.


This is a split-level property with reversed accommodation. The living spaces are on the first floor and the bedrooms on the ground and lower ground floors. A large double-height entrance hall opens onto stairs leading up to the open-plan first-floor living area, where floor-to-ceiling windows and a wide patio door frame panoramic sea views. A private terrace overlooking the lawn and sea is furnished with recliners and a firepit. The garden is enclosed by fencing. On the first floor, a full-width balcony accessed from the living area provides further outdoor space with sea views. A lawn area, shared with guests in the other properties within the development, leads down to the beach via six steps. Private parking is available for two cars.
