Inside, the airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has views of Watergate Bay beach and is decorated with grey, pink and wooden furnishings throughout. Natural light pours through the wide, floor-to-ceiling window and sliding glass door that opens onto a patio. In the lounge area, two sofas and an armchair surround the contemporary barrel-style wood burner. Move past the wooden dining table with six rattan-style dining chairs to reach a neat ‘U’-shaped fitted kitchen unit with white cabinets, grey countertops and a splash of purple. Also on the ground floor is an en-suite bunk bedroom with a single bed over a small double. A few steps down lead to a king-size zip-and-link bedroom with patio access and an en-suite. Climb the stairs to reach a king-size zip-and-link bedroom with a balcony and an en-suite. Outside you’ll find an enclosed garden with furniture and a fire pit. Beyond here is a lawn shared with neighbouring guests and private parking for two cars.
During your stay on the outskirts of Tregurrian village, start your time away with a dip at Watergate Bay beach (10 metres) before a pick-me-up at one of the local eateries (within 0.5 miles). Walk along the South West Coast Path to Bre-Pen National Trust (0.5 miles) and head to St Merryn’s Seven Bays (8 miles).
