Explore North Cornwall far and wide, following the coast path in search of rugged clifftop scenery, hidden coves and mystical rockpools, venturing up towards Trevose Head Heritage Coast (3 miles) and down towards Newquay (3 miles). The apartment itself is a bright, modern abode that occupies the third floor of a shared complex, with bedrooms to accommodate five guests – ideal for a family or group of friends.
Make your way up to the third floor via the lift, having left your car in the shared car park and your surf gear in the communal surf store. Once upstairs, everything you need is neatly arranged over one floor, including a large, open-plan living space combining the kitchen, lounge and dining area. From here, step out onto the wide, furnished balcony with the sea in full view. When it’s cooler, spend time curled up on the sofas with the TV streaming your favourite shows. Two bedrooms – a king-size zip-and-link and a triple bunk room – can be found along the hall, alongside an en-suite and a full-sized family bathroom.
With the great swells of the Atlantic thrashing onto the beach beside you, this spot is a fantastic destination for all kinds of water sports. As well as surfing, you can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding and wild swimming at Watergate Bay Beach, and you won’t have far to travel home in your wet, sandy gear. Along the coast, the town of Newquay offers a lively town centre where you’ll find all your essential amenities, plus a great selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants for refreshments in between afternoons on the sand.
