This contemporary two-bedroom detached house sits on a peaceful road above Mawgan Porth on the North Cornwall coast, with views stretching over the beach and the Atlantic beyond. Ideal for two couples or a small group of friends, the location lends itself to days of surf, coast-path walking, and al fresco dining. The golden sands of Mawgan Porth Beach are 300 metres down the hill, where a surf school and a scattering of shops and cafes line the beachfront. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftops, connecting Mawgan Porth to Watergate Bay (1.5 miles) in one direction and the dramatic stacks at Bedruthan Steps (0.5 miles) in the other – both routes offering cliff-edge views back across the bay. A historic Iron Age site sits near the village, and seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt provide a more light-hearted way to spend an afternoon.

The front door is reached via steps down from the parking area above, opening into a bright, open-plan living, kitchen, and dining space with sea views through large patio doors. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable three-seater sofa and two chairs arranged around a wood burner, plus a Smart TV. A dining table seats four, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for your self-catering stay. Patio doors from the living area lead directly out to the garden and decked area. The master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, a double wardrobe, a Smart TV and its own doors opening onto the garden. Its en-suite shower room has a large walk-in rainfall shower. The second bedroom features a super-king-size zip-and-link bed, so it can be made up as a twin room on request, and has its own en-suite shower room.

A decked area with a BBQ, wooden table, and seating for six overlooks the beach. The garden rises via gravelled steps to a private hot tub positioned to take in the sea views, with two sun loungers set alongside. An outside shower is available for rinsing off sand after a day at the beach, and secure storage is provided for surfboards. Steps lead from the parking space down to the property, with gravelled pathways through the garden. Private parking is available for one car, with an EV charger on site.
