This coastal lodge is a great place for couples or small families to enjoy a dog-friendly escape by the beach and has room for two canine companions. After a day of beach activities and coastal walks, spend evenings dining outdoors as you look out to sea. During your stay, you’ll have easy access to local shops, cafes and crazy golf. Enjoy walks along the South West Coast Path to Watergate Bay (1.5 miles) and Bedruthan Steps (0.5 miles).
Inside you’ll enjoy open-plan living with tones of grey, blue and yellow throughout. A sofa, two armchairs and small coffee tables are arranged around a wood burner and Smart TV and patio doors frame sea views. The dining area has a wooden table set for four and sits adjacent to the fitted kitchen. Step outside to the decked area where there is a BBQ, two sun loungers and a table with seating for six overlooking the beach and headland. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off surfboards or sandy feet. Head back inside to reach the master bedroom with en-suite shower room and patio doors leading onto the garden area. The second bedroom has twin beds and striped, blue and white wallpaper that give a coastal feel to the space. Private parking is available for one car and there is an EV charger on site.
Elevated on a quiet road above Mawgan Porth, this cosy lodge is just 300 metres from the sandy, dog-friendly beach. Explore the beachfront shops and sample delicious pastries at one of the cafes after a day of surfing or paddling. Follow the South West Coast Path to Bedruthan Steps (1.5 miles) and Watergate Bay (1.5 miles) or head through the Vale of Lanherne to the Japanese Garden and Carmelite convent (2 miles).
