The interior of this coastal hideaway has high ceilings and large windows throughout, making it feel airy and bright. In the living room, bay windows frame sea views and two comfortable sofas, an armchair and coffee table are offset by blue and neutral tones. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen and dining area, where there is a round wooden table that seats up to five. Wake to views over Fistral Bay from the en-suite master bedroom, where blue, yellow and natural shades create a calming space. A twin bedroom also looks onto the coast and has two armchairs by the window. Adjacent is a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, bath and coastal wall art. A shared garden dotted with palm trees overlooks the sea and the beach (150 metres) is accessed via a road and some steps. There is private parking for one car.
Located on Pentire Headland on the North Cornwall Coast, you’ll enjoy expansive views over Fistral Beach and some of the best surfing in Newquay. Along a cliff-top path you’ll find a quieter stretch of coastline with hidden coves and rock pools at Little Fistral. At low tide, follow the headland to discover the Historic Huer’s Hut (1 mile) or cross the Gannel Estuary to Crantock Beach (1 mile). Further afield you can visit the golden sands of Watergate Bay (5 miles) and Perranporth (9 miles), known for its independent shops and art galleries.
