Head out onto Fistral Beach (150 metres) and you’ll discover one of the finest surf breaks on the British coast. Sign up for a lesson at one of the surf schools, or grab a board from a hire shop and paddle out into the swell. Alternatively, follow the clifftop path to Little Fistral (0.5 miles) to explore the rock pools at low tide. Or head along the coast to the Gannel Estuary (1.5 miles) to paddle around the tidal creek in a kayak.
