Nearby Lantic Bay (4 miles) is another spectacular beauty spot, while the charming twin villages of Polruan (3 miles) and Fowey (3.5 miles) offer picturesque harbours, independent shops and excellent places to eat, with a passenger ferry connecting the two across the River Fowey.
