This contemporary house will ensure you have a holiday to remember with up to seven other guests and even two furry friends – so the whole pack can go! It’s quite simply a stunning place to make your base for exploring the breathtaking area around Penzance – that’s if you can bring yourself to leave the house itself with its luxuries including the cedar hot tub, games room, bar and a cinema room!

Not possibly what you’d expect from a Cornish holiday home, this super modern house is inspired by New Zealand, with its sleek lines covering multiple storeys but, most importantly, promising supreme comfort and luxury – and all with stunning views. The wall of windows opens almost completely from the generous lounge affording breathtaking sea views. Light floods into this bright and airy house, with modern furnishings and neutral decor with daring pops of colour. All four sophisticated bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The wonders carry on outside in the landscaped gardens, providing multiple areas to sit as well as the hot tub.

Tear yourself away from this fabulous house to explore the wonderful surroundings of the southwest part of Cornwall. The pretty village of Mousehole is 1.5 miles south along the coast, with the town of Penzance just 2 miles to the north with its shops, galleries and scenic streets. Head to Land’s End (10 miles) if you want to tick it off your list, but try to set out early to beat the crowds. The Minack Theatre, an open-air amphitheatre is 9.5 miles away, while you can cross over to St Michael’s Mount (6 miles), but do check the tide times if you’re crossing the causeway on foot! However, you don’t have to drive anywhere as there are miles of stunning walks locally, including the South West Coast Path.

We had an amazing week at Blue Elvin. For me the house was the holiday, I hardly needed to leave the place. We were blessed with great weather which obviously helped. The garden is an oasis, lovely sun traps but also lots of cool shade under the tropical foliage. The views, the stylish furniture and layout were all outstanding. We found everythRead moreing we needed there, the sound system & televisions were easy to use. The kitchen had lots of equipment and in the village were the best fishmongers so we actually ate in most nights. We loved the games room, played pool most evenings. You can walk to Penzance and Mousehole if you wish, we walked and also used the buses for these trips. I would definitely book again. Hide
