Enjoy a coastal getaway – as a couple, a small family or with friends – to this cute house in foodie Padstow. Charming, light-filled interiors combined with modern furnishings make this a really comfortable base to eat your way around Padstow or head further afield along the coast to glorious spots like Trevone Bay (2 miles) or Harlyn Bay (2.5 miles).

Your holiday will get off to a great start with this cute cottage, flooded with light and tastefully decorated in neutral tones to give the whole place a sophisticated, yet calming, atmosphere. It’s unfussy, with modern furniture and all mod cons to cook up a feast in the kitchen. The lounge/diner is a cosy and relaxing space with French doors opening onto a charming furnished patio. There’s another patio garden area with dining furniture the other side of the house, too, so you can always find sun or shade, company or quiet any time of the day. Private permit parking allows one car.

Don’t worry about navigating tiny lanes or finding parking; just a strollable 500 metres away, you’ll find Padstow’s historic harbour and the plethora of eateries nearby. Boat trips to spot wildlife including seals and dolphins also depart from here. Keep it water-based by crossing on the Black Tor ferry from Padstow to Rock (dubbed the ‘Saint Tropez of Cornwall’) on the other side of the estuary. It operates all year, but check seasonal timings when you’re there; dogs can usually go for a small fee at the ferryman’s discretion. But, if you want to burn off some of the fish and chips, then put your walking boots on and join the Camel Trail which extends 18.5 miles from Padstow to Wenford Bridge. It’s ideal for walkers or cyclists and any dogs will love the sniffing opportunities!

WOW What a beautiful cottage. The attention to detail was amazing. The owners have thought about everything even down to the soft furnishings. My friend and I loved our stay at Crabby Claws . The location was amazing . I wish I could live here

Crabby Claws provides good quality, well-presented, clean accommodation for a couple or a family with small children. Being so close to Padstow centre with a parking space is a welcome rarity

We enjoyed an excellent week on the cottage , it was easy to find and extremely useful having the parking space. The cleanliness and facilities within the cottage were excellent , most items/furniture appeared new or had been extremely well looked after . Loved the books and games in the lounge area and a nice touch with chews for our dog on arrivaRead morel. The position is outstanding with a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. I enjoyed my morning coffee sat on the outside patio area reading my book and at the end of the day I still preferred this position although there is a small back patio available. We would love to revisit and stay in the same property next year , great position and cleanliness first class ! Hide
