Inside, it’s been lovingly transformed into a welcoming holiday retreat, with a subtle coastal colour palette and stylish seaside accessories. After a day at the beach, unwind in the inviting lounge, where you can stretch out on the plump sofa and watch the Smart TV. The separate kitchen/diner features glossy, pastel-coloured units and is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering getaway. Gather here, at the table by the window, for memorable mealtimes with the family. A refreshing shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, two gorgeous bedrooms await, including a beach-themed twin that’s perfect for children. You’ll also find a day bed on the landing, accommodating another guest if required. Outside, bask in the sunshine on the enclosed deck, which has furniture for al fresco dining and fabulous views across the rooftops to the countryside beyond. Fowey is a colourful waterside town with a picturesque harbour, quaint cottages, and steep, winding streets. The town is a magnet for artists, and there are some wonderful galleries and studios to explore nearby. On a sunny day, pack a picnic and head to Readymoney Cove for a day on the sand, splashing in the sea or admiring the views from the South West Coast Path, which passes above the beach. From the cottage, enjoy days out the Lanhydrock National Trust or The Eden Project (both within 10 miles).
