From Polruan, hop across the harbour on the ferry service to Fowey (4 miles) to explore the art galleries, visit St Catherine’s Castle and Readymoney Cove (both within 4.5 miles). Keen walkers can join the South West Coast Path from the top of the village to be rewarded with spectacular clifftop views. Follow the trail to Polperro, 6 miles away, to explore its idyllic harbour and dip your toes into its crystal waters. The sandy shores of Carlyon Bay can be reached within 9.5 miles.
