It was hard not to get emotional pulling up to Hartland Cottage on a beautiful summers evening! A beautiful secluded cottage on the edge of woodland with a river running through the bottom of the garden. The cottage itself is very traditional which is exactly what we wanted, the perfect place to decompress. Hartland village only a 15-20 minute stroRead morell up the lane which has 3 lovely pubs, fish & chip shop and a local store. There is a steady stream of traffic along the lane which passes the cottage about 50 meters away which i presume is for Hartland Quay hotel and the Manor which is noticable as otherwise this is such a quiet and peaceful place. We loved our stay here Hide

Good location and well equipped cottage. Lovely to be able to walk straight from it to the coast. Nice private garden. Furnishing practical rather than beautiful.

The owner emailed before our visit that it is a 'much loved family home' and we very much felt this during our stay - it is a very comfortable family home and we felt very welcome. We had a lovely time in Hartland and loved the cottage. The village and surrounding area was amazing. We hadn't been to that area before and we were really impressed with how much there was to see and do. We thought Hartland Quay was absolutely stunning. We would certainly go back to the cottage again should we return to the area.

All 9 of our party thoroughly loved this cottage, the garden is stunning and there is plenty of room for relaxing and games (my 5 year old niece thoroughly enjoyed hide & seek). The house is comfortable with large rooms and plenty of seating and cosy spots. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable and cosy village getaway!
