This stylish apartment is in the vibrant seaside town of Newquay, on Cornwall’s north coast. Sleeping four guests, and just 300 metres from a beautiful, sandy beach, it’s the perfect base for couples and families seeking a traditional seaside getaway. Spend your days learning to surf, hiking along the coast path, or meeting local wildlife on a sea safari.
From the shared entrance, a lift takes you upstairs to the first-floor apartment. Inside, the bright and airy bolthole is decorated in a contemporary style, with a coastal colour scheme and tasteful seaside accessories. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a Juliet balcony, letting in plenty of light and allowing you to let a gentle sea breeze flow through the property on a hot, summer’s day. Spend time here, cooking up a storm in the sleek kitchen area and sharing family mealtimes around the glass dining table. In the evenings, settle down in the comfortable lounge area to watch the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, choose from one of two tranquil king-size bedrooms, one of which has zip-and-link beds offering flexible sleeping arrangements. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, and rounding off the retreat is a refreshing family bathroom. There is no dedicated outside space, however the beach is just moments away and you’ll also be within easy reach of the coast path. The apartment has private parking.
Your nearest beach is the privately-owned secluded cove of Lusty Glaze. Reached via a flight of steep steps, this magical spot boasts soft, golden sand, clear waters, and fabulous sunsets, and also has a bar and restaurant overlooking the beach. Further along the coast you’ll find the surfing hotspots of Fistral Beach (2 miles) and Watergate Bay (2.5 miles). Day trips from the apartment include the picturesque harbour town of Padstow (15 miles) and The Eden Project (18 miles).
