A welcome box of goodies was waiting on the kitchen table, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, a good location for exploring with Padstow and St Michaels Mount within an easy drive, also a very nice fish and chip shop just a few miles away and an excellent Chinese takeaway in next village. We had a lovely stay! St Day is very convenient for both coasts and has interesting mining topography and relics surrounding the village itself. We were greeted by our host, who conveniently lives next door and whod contacted us prior to our arrival to say that we were able to check in earlier on this occasion, which was very convenient! Such a comfortable place to stay! The bungalow was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, with a lovely welcome pack including home made jam, scones and clotted cream, tea, coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and lots more. The house is perfect. Its in a very central location for most of Cornwall due to its close proximity to the A30, and there are three beaches only a 15 minute drive away. The owners, Janet and Graham, live next door but do not intrude on your privacy unless you want them to. We would definitely stay here again when we next visit Cornwall.
