This characterful cottage features a welcoming lounge with wooden beams, a Smart TV, ample seating and a wood burner effect gas fire set in a traditional brick surround. Exploring further, the gorgeous country-style kitchen has ample equipment for family feasts which you can enjoy in the spacious conservatory/diner. Upstairs you will find a refreshing shower room and two cheerful bedrooms: a cosy king-size room and a comfortable twin. Outside, the enclosed garden features a generous lawn and a patio making a lovely setting for dining alfresco, with ample garden furniture and a BBQ. Guests are also welcome to explore the shared surrounding grounds which stretch across ten acres, with a deep unfenced lake and seating. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.

The property lies in a quiet spot outside the pretty village of Goonhavern, and just three miles from the beautiful Perranporth Beach. Heading north, the vibrant resort of Newquay (6.5 miles) has a range of great places to eat and drink, alongside an array of amusements, some lovely beaches and Newquay Zoo. Heading inland, there are plenty of landmarks and attractions to visit including Penrose Water Gardens, Screech Owl Sanctuary, Lappa Valley, Trerice and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within 20 miles.

What a find! Just had a 2 week stay here and the cottage was very clean and well equipped. The cream tea, cake and dog biscuits were a lovely surprise on arrival. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. We had access to their grounds which is beautiful and very dog friendly. The location is perfect for some of of the most amazing beaches in CornwRead moreall. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year. Highly recommend. Hide

Lovely clean welcoming cottage very friendly owner on site. Set in amazing gardens with lake. Perfect location for walking and visiting local towns like Newquay, st Agnes and Perronporth. Eat out at Tap house St Agnes and the minors pub. Both excellent food and service.

We arrived to find scones cream and jam, cake. There were biscuits for the dogs, it was such a lovely welcome. The owners live on sight so they were there if we needed help and were so friendly, but also left us to it once they had introduced themselves. It felt like a home from home.
