The cottage is well situated to explore the north coast both sides of the estuary. Good value for money and on a working farm. We don't usually stay at the same place more than once but we may well return next year for an autumn break.

Unfortunately the water was not working properly, this made showers and baths with a seven year old a bit of a struggle. Just a bit dated and master bedroom needs new wall paper but is still a lovely and bright room.

The cottage was comfortable and surprisingly spacious obviously well loved. The location is good in easy reach of beaches, some nice places to eat nearby. Although on a working farm the cottage is very quiet and we enjoyed seeing the cows from the cottage windows as well as watching swallows and swifts zipping about. I would definitely recommend thRead moreis property for families and anyone who likes outdoor activities as there is an excellent water sports centre 5 minutes down the road in Rock. Hide

Probably an okay place to stay if you can be out a lot in fine weather but for us it wasnt that comfortable a cottage to be in cool and damp conditions.

This cottage is connected to the farm house, it is a spacious place, lovely kitchen and generally really comfortable! Two things I want to point out, firstly theres no washing machine and very limited drying space, so not great if ur beaching it every day with 4 people and then it rains!! And secondly I really need to walk my dogs close to where ImRead more staying especially last thing in the evening and I couldnt here. A 10 min drive away is what we had to do. I will mention both things to the host Hide

The cottage is a good base for touring. No provisions on arrival... we asked to buy some milk for a cuppa after a very long journey, and we're instead directed to the nearest shop.. Although it was fine, we felt that it was missing some love and improvements could be made!
