We had a fantastic week at Hyacinth Cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy with comfy beds. Although small it was plenty big enough for four adults. Its in such a wonderful location, tucked away by the village church, it felt very peaceful. Theres a shop within a minutes walk, a fantastic fish and chip shop and a great mobile wood fired pizza van Read morevisits every Friday. I highly recommend both the fish and chips and the pizza! The walk through the wheat field to the Smugglers Den pub was another highlight. All the local beaches are fantastic with the clearest water Ive ever seen. We will definitely be back. Hide

The cottage is quaint and authentic. Right next to the church in Cubert. The owner met us at the cottage as he said they prefer the personal touch which was lovely. Another lovely touch was all the components for a cream tea, a bottle of prosecco and a pint of milk. Mike gave us the run down of the cottage and the wood fired hot tub, which we endedRead more up not using as the weather wasnt great! There is also a book with all the details you need. Would definitely recommend this cottage and the location has easy to access the A30 and A39 for trips to other areas. Hide

The welcome pack was a nice touch and communication was great. The property was clean and comfortable. It is well located and food value for money. As a family of four we had a good week. There was only 4 plates etc though so kitchen facilities were limited.

Hyacinth Cottage is well located and well appointed, in a lovely village with good beaches a short distance away at Holywell, Perranporth and Newquay. Comfortable beds, TV with channels for streaming (to keep kids entertained in down time after a day out!) We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The location of the cottage is excellent with a chippy and shop across the road as well as a playing field ideal for the dog. Its a 10 min walk to the smugglers den pub. The beautiful Holywell beach is 5 mins drive and Newquay 10 mins drive away. The cottage was unfortunately let down by the living room which was very dark and smelled of damp. TherRead moree were also a lot of cobwebs around. There is a hot tub but this being woodfired was difficult to get hot enough and a faff to get going. Hide
