A bright, welcoming home close to Cornwall's north coast, the ideal place to return to after a day of adventures and exploring. Guests return here time after time because of its humble charm and convenient location. Spend a warm afternoon in the large back garden, or a chilly evening curled up next to the traditional wood burner.

Feel right at home at Helstone Sunnyside. Pick up a book from the shelf and fall into an armchair in front of the wood burner. Exposed beams, homely decor and comfortable furnishings fill every room. Pretty pictures decorate the walls, and soft colours and textiles help you to relax into your surroundings.

Meander through the nearby fishing villages of Port Isaac, Boscastle, Rock, Padstow and Tintagel, all within 17 miles of Helstone Sunnyside. Pop in and out of cafes, become an expert in their history and embrace the relaxed Cornish pace. This cottage is just 9 miles from the Camel Trail at Wadebridge, a lovely route to stretch your legs or put your feet on the pedals and start cycling. The nearby coastline is looked after by the National Trust and offers spectacular walking routes past ancient houses and exotic gardens. If you travel further west, you will find many more gems of the north coast, including Newquay and St Agnes.

We are returning customers, having stayed at the property in the past. Location, just outside Camelford. Tintagel/Boscastle 15 minute drive away. Wadebridge Tesco 20 minutes away. Padstow 20 minutes drive. Mevagissey 55 minutes away. Accomodation easily fits a family of four. Large rear garden should you wish to spend a lazy day at the house. Very clean & comfortable only issue is the drive is very narrow. locals parked opposite the drive that made it almost impossible to reverse in. One of the best sleeps Ive had as the bed was very comfortable. I would return & recommend

Lovely quiet location, stunning garden which is totally dog friendly and secure. The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay and are already looking to book a break later this year.

Wonderful, well proportioned cottage set in spacious, peaceful and private enclosed gardens. Surprisingly, no traffic noise from the nearby A39, so you have the benefit of the road link without having to listen to it. My husband and I had a wonderful time at Sunnyside along with our two German Shepherds. The cottage is in a lovely location, very well equipped with everything you may need for your holiday. The garden is lovey and an ideal size. Its closed off for dogs. Although, I wouldnt leave them unattended as there is potential for them to make an escape routRead moree. Sunny side is not modern yet it is a very comfortable and charming cottage in Helstone with all the comforts of home. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, wonderful large rear garden and a cozy wood burning fireplace to warm up during the chilly months. Had a wonderful time

The cottage is delightful and was furnished with clean soft furnishings. The cutlery, crocery, glasses and kitchenware were all imaculate. This is the first Holiday Cottage I have felt comfortable using the supplied tableware. The location is wonderful and quiet and neighbours were friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay ,good location good distance to lots of beaches and attractions,white Hart inn is very good as is the sea view farm shop breakfast. Cottage had everything we needed lovely large garden, only negative is feel it would benefit from a new bathroom.

Lovely Cottage. Its probably a three star as its a bit old fashioned (decor - wise) but really clean, good location (15 - 20 mins drive to most places).
