The overriding pleasure we all got from staying in Waters Edge was the lovely view which we miss already and the brilliant regular ferry over to Fowey. We knew parking would be difficult so we came by train.

Lovely location, good size and easily accommodated our family of 8 (all adults), great getting the little ferry across to Fowey for dinner etc, but do watch out that the limit in the evening is only 12 people! Overall lovely holiday.

The location, property and facilities were great. Great to get up and watch the view across the harbor. Ferry to Fowley every 15 minutes. First time I have ever picked up a takeaway curry by ferry. The housekeeper was very helpful when we had a question. Locals very friendly and a great grocer just a short walk up the hill, past a very nice Cafe wiRead moreth pasties. Hide

This property has an unbeatable location on the quay at Polruan. All rooms have a sea view. It is well equipped and comfortable. Guests need to be mindful of the steep narrow streets and the parking arrangements. It was super to be able to hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks from the property and not needing to use Read morethe cars. Hide

What an amazing location. It felt like we had our own personal beach. The kids could run straight out to the beach and we could see them clearly from the front patio. There was a bit of noise from the pub late in the evenings, but nothing that kept any of us awake. The house was beautiful, well equipped and worked well for our group of 9 people. ThRead moree hill to the car park is definitely steep, but it didn't stop us from making trips out. Hide
