One of four cottages overlooking the shared lawn, on a family run farm, Foundry is an idyllic choice. As you first glimpse the stone-built barn conversion, you get just a hint of the immaculate presentation which awaits inside. The southwestern tip of Cornwall is often considered the most beautiful and this property is as stunning as the scenery which surrounds it. St Erth sits between the north and south coasts meaning you are never far from golden sands and blue seas.

The well designed, contemporary property has many modern touches and an abundance of space. You'll be greeted by a traditional stone facade, whilst inside, pretty pastel blues and neutral tones provide a soft space in which to unwind. Six people can happily find tranquillity and peace in this spacious and sumptuous home. The large private patio outside and the two lounges inside give plenty of options for moments of relaxation.

Visit the Tate Gallery in St Ives (7 miles), then explore the many shops and restaurants which hug the shores of the numerous bays and beaches in the town. Marazion is 5 miles away and is the starting point for an adventure across the causeway to St Michael's Mount. If the tide prevents you from walking across the ancient cobbles then there is always the ferry to carry you across to explore the castle and sub-tropical gardens. Nearby is Paradise Park, a treat for bird and animal lovers.

One of the best properties we have stayed in. Lovely and quiet, and easy to get to. Lots of great facilities. We especially appreciated the two lounge areas and ensuites to each bedroom. I'm sure we will be back, soon.

The most lovely holiday house, well located and suited our 87 year age range perfectly! The garden was a joy, beautiful beds full of colour, roses and perennials, all obviously well tended. The lawns and patio proving to be a sun trap all day. I so hope we can return.
