The golden sandy beach of Whitsand Bay is less than a mile away, down a steep cliff path, or perhaps you’d prefer to join the South West Coast Path and enjoy a scenic ramble. With its own hot tub, you can spend your evenings relaxing at the lodge amongst the bubbles with a spot of stargazing.

The lodge has a great view of the sea and surrounding countryside, you can sit on the decking or in the hot tub and watch the sunset, one issue to mention is there is a stoney path from the road to the lodge (which is not the owners fault) but it is not possible to roll a suitcase on. The wifi said I was connected but had no Internet connection Read morenot sure why, I had reason to contact the housekeeper, tried calling and sent a text message but this is an area of very limited connectivity so I sent her a WhatsApp message and she responded straight away, so if you do want to contact Kat do it via WhatsApp, , all in a very nice place to stay Hide

This is an amazing location and we had a wonderful time with two small children. Its safe, easy to access many different places by car and the use of the swimming pool was a great little daily activity. The sunsets were stunning and evenings in the hot tub so lovely. The stay was really peaceful, easy and felt very safe.

Really enjoyed staying at the chalet. Very well equipped, comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the views from the lounge and hot tub. The site was well maintained and we made use of the pool and local bar.

Just to note, we are a family of 5 (Couple and 3 kids). This place is amazing!! The view is breathtaking. We took an amazing video of the morning tide with beautiful bird song in the background. It's quiet, picturesque and the actual lodge was beautifully clean. It's located right next to the sea for the people that don't mind a 5 min walk to beachRead more. Barry (next cabin) is a lovely fella. We were told to book restaurant and swimming pool slots BUT it was so quiet we had the place to ourselves. Hide
