Set in the heart of the glorious Cornish countryside, yet within easy reach of the stunning coastline, enjoy a unique stay in this modern take on a traditional log cabin. Make the most of this secluded woodland location with your own private wood-fired hot tub and enjoy sociable open-plan living in this wonderful wooden retreat.

Step inside this fantastic home and discover a welcoming place where wooden walls create warm tones and cosy corners invite you to sit and relax with loved ones. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped, contemporary kitchen, then dine together at the Scandinavian-style dining table, a perfect design choice for this distinctly Nordic space. The cosy living area offers plenty of plush sofa seating to relax upon after a day of adventure or head outside to take a luxurious soak in the bubbling hot tub, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Outdoor seating offers the opportunity for al fresco dining, and the surrounding woodland is yours to roam if you wish to explore further. The shower room and an inviting twin room can be found on the ground floor, then climb the stairs to the first floor and discover a relaxing snug with a double sofa bed and a balcony overlooking the woodland. The master bedroom is also located on the first floor, tucked romantically under the sloping eaves of the roof, and comes complete with its own private balcony in the tree-tops, the perfect spot for your morning coffee.

With glorious countryside and stunning sandy beaches, it’s easy to see why the North Cornwall coastal region has people returning year after year. Situated in a calm woodland setting shared with only one other cabin, nature is all around you in this peaceful spot where delightful walks begin from your doorstep. Head 5 miles to the sweeping sands of Widemouth Bay for a day of seaside fun. Hire a surfboard or bring your own and tackle the Atlantic rollers, or take a surf lesson with one of the many beachside surf schools. Join the South West Coast Path from Widemouth and take an expedition over the clifftops to Bude, 3 miles, or drive directly from home (7 miles). Bude is large enough to provide a good range of facilities, yet it is small enough to retain its traditional Cornish charm. Discover the town's popular sandy beaches and sample some fresh local produce in one of many cafes, restaurants and pubs.

The Oak Cabin was a really nice place to spend a few nights over the Easter weekend. Despite Storm David it proved to be a beautiful location and the acommodation was lovely and just right for cosying up whilst the winds did their work. The wood powered hot tub was excellent . A little bit of hard work required but I like making fires so I found Read moreit really rewarding but we sat in it most nights whilst the temperature was no more than 7'C outside and it was beautiful. You're no more than a ten minute drive to 2 beaches with excellent surf, and with winter wetsuits on myself and Jack surfed everyday. The cabin was roomy and I cooked most evenings in the well equipped kitchen ( A big bowl and one more pan would have been perfect but that's being extremely picky) We would definitely book again Hide

A wonderful place in the forest peaceful and quiet, it was a truly relaxing stay. The house was very clean, tidy, and warm. We found everything we needed inside. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the sea is just 20 miles away. I highly recommend this house to everyone.

Idyllic place to stay, (except for location of 2nd cabin). Cabin was clean and tidy, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the stairs were very very steep with only one handrail. Not suitable for older visitors and children. Hot tub was lovely once heated, took 4 hours and took 2 bags of logs to heat. (extra logs had to be purchased). An Read moreexpensive holiday.

Lovely cabin set in the woods. Easy to find using both Sat Nav and the instructions given by the owners. The cabin was warm and welcoming on arrival with a bottle of prosecco, some lovely biscuits and milk in the fridge. There is also some tea and coffee available. There was a bag of kindling and two bags of logs. Plenty of wood for heating the hotRead more tub which takes 3 hours and wood for the fire pit. Location is wonderfully peaceful. You share the space with only one other small property. Hide

Great location! Pity another cabin right next door. Hot tub a bit of a waste...takes hours and lots of wood to heat up (I never got it above Luke warm so gave up!) Cabin comfortable and kitchen well equipped.

The cottage was lovely, well maintained if not a little weathered. The owners had clearly thought of every eventuality with what was on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed joyed it and would return.
