We booked at this barn conversion because the location looked ideal, and in many ways it lived up to expectations. It's set in a very peaceful, secluded spot with lovely woodland walks nearby, and it's conveniently located close to the Eden Project. The enclosed garden and veranda were pleasant, and the area is excellent for anyone looking for a quRead moreiet countryside retreat (the lack of mobile phone signal can be problematic). Unfortunately, the property itself was let down by a mould problem. There was visible mould in the accommodation, which created an unpleasant smell and made the cottage feel less clean and comfortable than expected. This was particularly disappointing given the otherwise attractive setting. With better attention to maintenance and addressing the mould issue, this could be a lovely place to stay. However, based on our experience, the condition of the property meant it did not meet our expectations. Hide

A lovely quiet rural location, perfect for exploring the historic and beautiful Luxulyan Valley, south Cornwall coast and moors. We were grateful for the lack of phone signal at the property and it was wonderful to be able to wander around the Acorn estate - we'll be looking forward to a summer camping visit in the future. We really enjoyed our staRead morey and felt we had everything we needed for our comfort and enjoyment. Hide

ONE-bedroom lets are often the ones with the most character and this is no exception. When that is combined with functionality you're on to a winner. This will suit any couple on the lookout for some cosy charm and a level of comfort where the basics are in place. Probably not ideal if you need open views from your doorstep but if you're happy to bRead moree nestling in dense woodland - and this is the kind you don't see so much of in this country these days - you'll be fine. Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage was clean, bed very comfortable, great shower and a fantastic location. A lovely balcony and a private garden. Close to Eden project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charles town and the Treffry Viaduct is a short walk from the door.

Absolutely what we wanted to find. Idyllic location in the middle of Heritage woodland. So quiet even with campers nearby as the bedroom was downstairs. So close to the beach, the Eden Project which we loved exploring. Hadnt realised how little time it took to drive to the west coast. Amazing holiday, visiting Cornwall for the first time. We will dRead moreefinitely come back. Hide
