Just returned from a idillic week at Coolroe. The weather was fantastic and we spent most of the time spent at the cottage in the garden. For these weeks the downstairs utility room, BBQ and garden furniture set are ideal. We had a fantastic stay at Coolroe and would recommend it. The property is beautiful, very well equipped and spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break. The views are stunning and gave us some lovely moments throughout the week we even found ourselves keeping an eye on the local herd of cows and the farmers Read moremorning efforts to round up a few late stragglers after what looked like a lively night out for them! We were lucky enough to enjoy some gorgeous Cornish sunshine and made good use of the lovely garden, particularly in the late afternoons after days out exploring the local area, including Kingsand, Cawsand, Seaton and Mount Edgcumbe House and Park. It was a real bonus to come back and relax in such a peaceful setting. All in all, a wonderful stay in a truly special place we would happily return. Hide

Narrow approach from lane. Can be an issue with other cars approaching.

Beautifully fitted out home with all you could need. A lovely backdrop too. Two local shops, pubs, plus a chip shop nearby. Not for you if you dislike small streets though! Fairly good location for areas to visit in the area (Mount Edgecumbe House and Park recommended)

The cottage was truly a gem. The decor was impeccable and carefully considered. The appliances and fixtures were exceptional quality and much enjoyed. Faultless in my opinion as it lacked nothing! Fabulous property, extremely well kitted out. Impressed with the cleanliness. We had dealings with the owner, housekeeper (and gardeners) as we had a minor hiccup and found all to be helpful and concerned to make our stay great - which it was. The information folder for guests is the best I have encountered - succinct but had all necessary info.
