This Cornish retreat is in the charming fishing town of Porthleven. Enjoy excursions to the cathedral city of Truro, St Michael’s Mount, or the the Lizard Peninsula (all within 20 miles).

The coastal bolthole has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, with natural tones and textures sitting alongside vibrant accessories and plush soft furnishings. Steps lead to the front door and through to the open-plan kitchen/diner with a cosy wood burner and bi-fold doors opening onto the terrace. Unwind in this bright, sociable space enjoying casual dining at the breakfast bar or celebrating special occasions at the sleek dining table. After dinner, get comfortable on the large, L-shaped sofa in the lounge for a movie night around the Smart TV. There are three stunning king-size bedrooms on the ground floor, all with en-suite shower rooms. A utility room completes this level. Porthleven is full of Cornish charm, with a bustling working harbour, friendly mariners’ pubs, and several galleries and studios showcasing local artwork. A 3-mile sand and pebble beach stretches away from the town, and is popular with experienced surfers and dog walkers. For a more traditional buckets and spades-type day at the seaside, Praa Sands is just 5 miles away. The area is a paradise for walkers, with routes to explore along the South West Coast Path and through the National Trust’s Penrose Estate.
