Up to four guests and two canine companions can stay in this converted barn, ideally located for walkers and seafood lovers in North Cornwall. With a stone facade, exposed timber beams and white-washed walls, this single-storey holiday home is a cosy base for exploring the nearby family attractions, St Merryn’s Seven Bays and Padstow. Spend quality time with your nearest and dearest in the sociable open-plan living space and dine alfresco in the garden.
Enter the cottage and find yourself in the airy, neutral-toned, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a wooden beamed ceiling. To one side of this space is a lounge area with two soft leather sofas in front of the Smart TV and French doors leading to the patio. Move past the dining table into the compact L’-shaped kitchen area with wooden cabinets and black countertops. Completing the interior is a shower room, a separate WC and two bedrooms – a double and a twin. Outside is a lawned garden and a patio with furniture, which is shared with neighbouring guests. There is private parking for two cars.
During your stay in the Cornish countryside, you’ll be just 4 miles from the coastal town of Padstow – known for its seafood restaurants and bustling harbour. From the town, you can join the South West Coast Path (4 miles), which will take you to the area's famous seven bays, including Treyarnon Bay and Harlyn Bay (both within 4.5 miles). As well as the Camel Cycle Trail (4 miles) to check out on two wheels, also nearby is the Camel Creek Family Adventure Park (3 miles).
