An astonishing barn conversion within 350 acres of rolling farmland with private access to Tamar Lakes, a haven for water sports lovers, just 0.5 miles away. This two-storey barn is located in a Dark Sky Reserve and surrounded by lush green farmland for as far as the eye can see. Accessed by a stunning entrance hall, the interior is finished to an incredibly high standard, with floor-to-ceiling windows, polished concrete floors and vaulted ceilings featuring throughout. There is more than enough room for everyone in the spacious lounge, with comfortable sofas arranged around floor-to-ceiling windows boasting fine country views. It’s a similar story in the kitchen/diner, which features original wood beams and has a small utility room off to one side. The colourful conservatory offers garden views as well as plenty of games to keep children of all ages occupied. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor: an en-suite super-king-size bedroom that can be made up as a twin bedroom; an en-suite king-size bedroom; and an en-suite quadruple bedroom. An impressive glass-sided open-tread staircase leads to the first floor. Here, the en-suite super-king-size bedroom enjoys fabulous country views; the en-suite king-size bedroom next door features a pretty Juliet balcony, while a further super-king-size bedroom features original beams. A family bathroom stands nearby. The enclosed garden is a real treat for those on two and four paws, with plenty of seating and kit for alfresco meals on the patio areas, room on the lawn for dog-friendly games and even access to a private games barn.

The barn enjoys private access to Tamar Lakes (0.5 miles), a haven for cyclists, walkers and water sports lovers. There are numerous bays and beaches around Bude (7 miles), a bustling seaside town that’s great for meals, drinks and shopping. Further inland, Holsworthy (7 miles) is typical of the market towns in Devon.

Very friendly owners who were always available if needed, for example extra fire wood for the fire pit barbecue. The whole house was beautifully furnished and all facilities were to a very high standard. Lovely setting in the countryside which was both isolated yet only a short drive to Bude beech.

Luton Barn was an absolutely perfect property. We travelled as three families with children ranging between 4-9 years old. There was so much to do both inside and outside the house, the games room and space inside the house was perfect for a wet day, and for the nicer days we explored the local beaches of Duckpool and Sandy mouth.

Beautiful modern property with lovely big spacious rooms and lots of bathrooms - great for big family holidays. The enclosed garden was perfect for the kids and dogs to play in safely and the big conservatory on the side of the barn was lovely to relax in and enjoy the countryside views. Great location close to our favourite beach at Bude and lovelRead morey walks to Tamar lakes. The homemade biscuits were a delicious welcome gift. Would definitely stay again. Hide
