Up to two guests can stay in this spacious Cornish coastal cottage with homely interiors and a courtyard garden. Spend your days getting to know the pretty town of Fowey, exploring the southern coastal stretch of the Cornwall National Landscape and visiting the Eden Project (6 miles). In the evenings, relax in this airy, open-plan ground-floor apartment.
Make your way inside through a private entrance to find yourself in the neutral-toned open-plan living space. Natural light pours through the sash windows and French doors into the lounge area, where a floor lamp and footstool accompany the sofa and armchair. Opposite, a Smart TV sits on an antique-style table beside the rustic bookshelf. Move around the wall divider past the wooden dining table with two rattan chairs to reach the bedroom area. Climb a couple of steps and push through the swinging wooden doors to find a king-size bed and an oak wardrobe. Beyond here is a bright, grey and white galley kitchen with a coffee machine. Completing the interior is a contemporary shower room. Outside, you’ll find a small seating area in the courtyard, which is shared with the property owner. There is private parking for one car.
During your stay in the charming port town of Fowey, wander the narrow, winding streets to find local ocean-inspired artisan shops and seafood restaurants (within 0.5 miles). Go for a dip at Readymoney Cove and admire the 1530’s St Catherine’s Castle (both within 1 mile). Catch the ferry to Polruan and head along the South West Coast Path to the soft, pale shores of National Trust Lantic Bay (2.5 miles). Also within reach is the historic port town of Charleston (7 miles)
