Up to four guests can stay in this cheerful, contemporary holiday home with a garden and a separate dining room. Set in the lively seaside and surf town of Newquay, you’ll have plenty of eateries, beaches and shops on your doorstep. If you want to escape the crowds, nearby are plenty of coastal walking trails and sleepy Cornish villages.
Step inside and find yourself in the bright and minimalist lounge with a large corner sofa and a Smart TV. The colour scheme of yellow, white and grey runs throughout the property. Continue into the dining room, where natural light pours in through the French doors onto the wooden and white table with two double bench seats. Beyond here is a traditional wooden and granite-fitted kitchen with a handy dishwasher and washing machine. Climb the stairs to reach a contemporary family bathroom and two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin. At the rear of the property is an enclosed garden with a lawn and furniture on the patio. There is private parking for one car.
Get to know the town of Newquay and head into the centre (1 mile) to browse the independent shops and an excellent variety of restaurants. Spend some time stretched out on the sand or rent a surfboard at Fistral Beach (0.5 miles). For something a little quieter, Crantock Beach and Polly Joke are both within 5 miles. Check out the scenic St Merryn’s Seven Bays (8.5 miles) for clifftop views, quiet villages and secluded coves. If you’re visiting with little ones, you could hop on a quarter-size steam train at Lappa Valley (5.5 miles).
