The very best of Cornwall’s stunning coastline and enchanting countryside are yours to explore when you stay at this impressive converted barn. It’s ideal for groups of up to six guests, and offers walks from the door as well as easy access to Bodmin Moor, excellent beaches, market towns and a variety of family attractions.

Step through the door (and down one step) into this charmingly rustic cottage, to experience an irresistible blend of authentic period features with modern comforts. A stone archway leads into the lounge/diner, where a huge fireplace and A-frame beams create an incredible first impression. Snuggle in front of the wood burner, with the Smart TV for entertainment, or gather round the dining table and enjoy a hearty meal. A few steps down, the painted kitchen benefits from a winter Aga and an electric oven. Little ones can enjoy the cosy playroom, while adults might want to spend a quiet moment appreciating the garden views from the sunroom. Also on the ground floor are a double bedroom and a family bathroom. On the first floor, reached via two staircases (one a spiral with open treads), are the super-king-size and king-size bedrooms, the latter boasting an additional single bed. Part of the charm of these beautiful rooms are their low, sloping ceilings. A refreshing shower room completes the interior. The garden includes a large lawn, a patio with outdoor seating and a sheltered spot for BBQs. You’ll also have parking for two cars.

Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this welcoming retreat is 7.5 miles from Launceston, where you’ll find a variety of shops and places to eat. The magical castle at Tintagel is 19.5 miles away, and the beaches of both north and south coasts can be reached in less than 20 miles.
