The thriving coastal town of Falmouth is just 4.5 miles away, boasting an impressive selection of independent pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries, together with regular ferry trips across to picturesque St Mawes (12 miles). Back on dry land, join the Bissoe cycle trail or the famous South West Coast Path for some spectacular scenery, stopping for a dip and an ice cream on the beach at Gyllyngvase (4.5 miles), Swanpool (5.5 miles) or Maenporth (6 miles), which is also an excellent location for water sports.

A wonderful house with lots original character, very clean and comfortable. Owners left balloons and a celebration cake on arrival which was a lovely thoughtful surprise.

Lovely comfy house, great garden though dogs need supervision due to pool. Enjoyed our stay, lots of great coastal walking and dog friendly pubs and cafes
