Along the shores are plenty of beaches and idyllic coastal walking routes. The closest place for a dip is Crooklets Beach (0.5 miles). A dog-friendly beach nearby is Sandymouth (5 miles) and to the north is Hartland (Cornwall) Heritage Coast (2 miles).
