Full of character, cosy comforts and coastal delight, The Swallows Barn is a wonderfully spacious home-from-home. Spend your holiday nights bubbling away in the hot tub, snuggling up on the sofas or getting competitive in the games room having whiled away your day stumbling across Cornish gems off the beaten track, or visiting one of the many fantastic tourist spots scattered throughout the county.

Bright, breezy and bursting with character, the barn's spacious interior is beautifully decorated with warm furnishings, inviting you to kick back and relax after giving it your all in the games room. Melt into sumptuous bedding which exquisitely complements the soothing soft tones of the bedrooms. As the sun rises, start your day off by breakfasting in the grand kitchen, flooded with light.

To discover wild, natural beauty, the rugged rocks of Bodmin Moor are 19 miles away. Historic hut circles await you on paths that have been trodden for centuries. Exotic indoor rainforests lie just 30 miles away at The Eden Project, wonderfully luscious and with great opportunities for young ones to enjoy. If you fancy hopping on a boat or taking a dip in the clear Cornish waters, head to one of the many quaint coastal villages decorating the local coastline: Looe for example, is 20 miles away.

  • Please note, security cameras are situated externally in the  parking area of this property.  Privacy is assured in all other areas, including internally and around the hot tub.  In no way do the owners want to intrude upon your stay, the cameras are purely a safety precaution to monitor entry and exit of the parking area when the property is vacant and provide secure parking for your vehicle.

Lovely place for a group visit, very secluded with big kitchen & living room spaces. Lovely hot tub and a great dog friendly visit with the enclosed paddock right next door. Kitchen is well equipped.

A really lovely location and perfect for our whole family for Christmas, with the smaller barn as well. We appreciated the Christmas decorations and treats, and the secure paddock for the dogs was a great addition too. Easy to get to the moor (Minions on Bodmin is a great spot for a walk) and the coast. Would definitely recommend.

Property was fantastic, spacious yet cosy, everything we needed for a family holiday. Location was lovely, out of thecway but not far from anywhere. Would highly recommend The Swallows Barn to other family members & friends looking for this type of accommodation

Unable to contact the owners about some issues we had. Hot tub being repaired on our first night so unable to use it. Couldn't locate travel cot. However we had a fab family stay.

Lovely cottage in very tranquil setting. Secure dog field excellent. Garden area only secure for dogs if the track/road gate is shut, so need to be aware as another property uses the same track. Overall a good cottage with lots of room for family gatherings, but very remote so driving to visit areas is a must.

Fantastic Cottage, very spacious, clean, well equipped and a great location for exploring all parts of Cornwall. The paddock was great for the dog, fully secure and maintained, as were all the grounds & gardens. 10/10 in all regards.

Absolutely fabulous property. Everything you need was there. A new tin opener would be great. We didn't want to leave. Felt so at home and really comfortable. Am looking at booking again. Thank you for a wonderful time

Lovely converted barn.. Everything we needed. The hot tub was a big hit with my family and there was plenty of space to exercise the dog. ( not that he needed much after our days out!) What an amazing property. There was 5 of us and 2 dogs and it had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable & the hot tub was a bonus. We will definitely be booking again.

Would absolutely come back here. We stayed as 7 adults & 4 dogs & there was plenty of room in the house, lovely grounds & the hot tub was plenty big enough for all us adults. The grounds are maintained extremely well, the enclosed field was great for the dogs. The house was lovely & comfortable. We had a lovely weekend here.

The cottage is very well equipped, great to have fans in the bedrooms. The children loved the games room and the swings and the large paddock was brilliant for football and frisbee. The hot tub was amazing and great for relaxing in after a busy day. Thank you so much for the welcome pack, it's good to know you can make a cuppa after a long drive. IRead more would recommend this family property, although it's not close to the sea you have a choice of beaches to visit and attractions within easy reach. Hide

A beautiful spacious barn that was a perfect location for family trip consisting of 8 adults. Spectacular setting which offered a peaceful and picturesque stay.
