The open-plan layout invites guests to lounge together of an evening, perhaps warmed by the wood burner that takes pride of place in the lounge. If you would like some private time there is a snug room too.

No visit to the area is complete without wandering the picturesque harbour town of Fowey, just 11 miles away. Climb aboard one of the pleasure boats for a different view of the town, before dining in one of its fine eateries or inns, making sure to try the famous Fowey River mussels.

Great location with places to visit not far away but beware , the roads are very narrow., just be careful. House has everything you need but if you have an Amazon Firestick, take it as TV reception does break up occasionally . Good walks along the river for people and dogs . We went in winter so log burner was great but we didn't try the hot tub.

There were 8 of us in our group, different ages. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxed week. The welcome card, cake, milk and tea was such a personal touch and very appreciated. Location to the pub, shop and estuary were perfect. We would definitely like to return.

We had an amazing stay at Lerryn Cottage, the cake was delicious, however Mandi went above and beyond to decorate the house with balloons for our arrival as we were celebrating a birthday! The beds were super comfy, the hot tub and garden were fabulous with great views and the woodburner was amazing for slightly colder evenings. Highly recommend a Read morewalk by the river and across the stepping stones (when the tide is low) and a bacon bap from Lerryn River Stores. We will definitely be back! Hide

This was our second stay at this property, but this time we took our parents. The house is spacious enough to feel that we weren't on top of each other. The large enclosed garden was lovely for our dog. The hot tub is in a lovely spot for evening dip and a gin and tonic !! The local pub yet again was spot on, warm and friendly.
