Set in the small hamlet of Lantegos Highway, this bright, single-storey hideaway provides a stylish yet comfortable base for exploring South Cornwall. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, this dog-friendly property is within 1.5 miles of the River Fowey, making it easy to explore the region’s beaches, woodlands and quaint villages.

Set behind a gated entrance, this contemporary property oozes character and style. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area forms the heart of this holiday home, and is a bright, airy space with a vaulted and beamed ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows on one wall. Rustle up meals in the modern kitchen, which features grey, shaker-style cabinets and a Belfast sink, then perch at the breakfast bar for casual bites or gather around the dining table for unhurried meals. The neighbouring lounge offers the perfect spot to relax after days of exploring with deep, comfy seating and a Smart TV. Two soothing bedrooms promise restful nights; choose between a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a cosy twin which has use of the family shower room. Outside, an enclosed garden features a patio with outdoor furniture for al-fresco suppers, and a grassy garden for kids and dogs to play. Ample parking is available on the private driveway.

The region is rich in walks, from the abandoned pleasure park of Tivili Garden in Lerryn to Polruan and Pencarrow Head (all within 3 miles). Head to the village of Bodinnick (1.5 miles) to hop on a ferry to the charming harbour town of Fowey, a renowned sailing destination with rich literary connections. The family-friendly attractions of Wheal Martyn Clay Works, the Eden Project and Pinetum Gardens are within 17 miles.

A lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were beautiful and there was a lovely welcome pack. We definitely recommend it.

It was lovely place to be, very well equipped, bbq every night was just wonderful. The host went extra miles and gave us lots of free things ( cafe, milk, biscuits on arrival) and dropped extra coal for bbq... Cottage was perfectly placed for our planned trips ....would definitely recommend it

Fabulous property, very well appointed, tastefully decorated and very clean and fresh. The owners made us very welcome, gave lots of information about the local area and there was a fabulous supply of bits and pieces eg condiments, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk. Wow where do I start, Little trecoombe is absolutely beautiful its very clean and modern. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure everything is provided, Cornish tea & coffee, biscuits, plenty of towels and superb beds even milk in the fridge, boxes of tissues, condiments and sauces, we took our dog on our first family holiday to Cornwall Read moreand she really enjoyed it too especially the secure lawned garden. We would 100% return to this fabulous place. Hide
