This pretty cottage has characterful features and welcomes a group of five friends or a family. Situated on the estuary in the charming fishing village of Polruan, you will have access to your own private patio where you can watch the boats come and go while dining alfresco.
As soon as you step inside, you will be welcomed by the bright, welcoming, and homely atmosphere. The downstairs is all open plan, and is thoughtfully designed so each area feels like its own space. Cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen and sit together at the dining table, while you eat and discuss the days ahead. In the evening, curl up on the sofa and fire up the warming wood burner. Watch something on the Smart TV or simply admire the stunning views from the bay window seat. Upstairs are the three sumptuous bedrooms, choose from a king-size, a double, or a single, which also has a trundle bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. The bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, a WC, and a separate shower room which also contains a WC. Outside, a private patio has garden furniture and overlooks the estuary. You will also have private parking for one car.
Polruan is a small village offering a lovely community feel. It has a couple of pubs and a shop, as well as the historic Polruan Blockhouse. Hop on the boat that takes you over the water to Fowey, a bustling harbour town full to the brim with restaurants and bars. Take a scenic stroll along the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles), which winds along the rugged shoreline. Head to Lantic Bay (2 miles), which has a steep descent to the beach but is well worth the challenge.
