Set in the tranquil countryside of the Cornwall National Landscape, this characterful, stone-built couple's bolthole is perfect for a romantic getaway near the coast. Enjoy the garden for dining alfresco, a wood burner for cosy evenings in and a four-poster bed for breakfast in bed. Spend your days exploring the nearby coastal walking trails, secluded sandy beaches and charming Cornish seaside towns.
As you enter this single-storey property, you’ll notice the vaulted, wooden-beamed ceiling in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This space is airy and bright with wooden furnishings and a pop of blue, pink and orange throughout the decor. To one side of the room, there’s a fitted, farmhouse-style ‘L’-shaped kitchen unit with glossy cabinets and wooden countertops. Adjacent is a quirky, painted dining table for two. On the other side of the room is a comfortable lounge area with two sofas, a wood burner and a Smart TV. Continue into the bedroom to find an elegant, four-poster bed, sophisticated antique-style furnishings and a loveseat by the window. Completing the interior is a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio with furniture. Also onsite, on the 36 acres of grounds, is a games room with a pool table, air hockey and a dart board – shared with neighbouring properties. There is private parking for one car.
