A characterful holiday home bursting with colour and original features, where a group of six family members can enjoy unwinding after busy days exploring the Cornish coast and countryside. The garden has a vast lawn space where the children and dogs of the group can play safely.

Inside this pretty cottage, you will find a farmhouse-style kitchen set beneath a beamed ceiling, enjoy cooking meals together or a cup of morning coffee at the breakfast table. Head through to the spacious lounge/diner where you can tuck into meals together or simply kick back and relax on the sofas in front of the Smart TV. The king-size master bedroom is thoughtfully decorated to assist in a calming night’s sleep, and down the hall is the children’s bedroom, which contains a single bed and a sleeper bunk bed. This room features loads of toys and doubles up as a fantastic playroom. Upstairs is the final bedroom, a double, which is adjacent to a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside, the garden is mostly laid to lawn lined by mature shrubbery and has a cosy patio area with garden furniture. Private parking is provided for two cars.

Visit the pristine shores of Porthcothan (1 mile), which can easily be accessed on foot, where you can further explore the dramatic coastline on the South West Coast Path. Grab a bite to eat at one of the gastro pubs and explore the eclectic mix of shops in St Merryn (1.5 miles) or, for real foodies, enjoy the scene at Padstow (4.5 miles). This could be a lovely cottage with renovation. It appears tired and is very basic. No outlook from property or from the small garden. Slight constant hum from sewage pump in the garden, might not be noticeable if you are used to background noise. We used it as a base and went out each day, good location for driving to beaches and landmarks. Good oRead moreption for a basic place to stay but not if you are wanting to spend time in the garden with a book and nice view. Hide

A perfect, quiet, away from it all cottage. Close proximity to several dog friendly beaches means that you can forget the car for a couple of days.
