The sheltered cove at Port Gaverne (0.5 miles) is great for sea swimming and dolphin spotting, while further afield, Polzeath (6 miles) has a reputation as a surfer’s paradise. Join the South West Coast Path, which runs through the village and takes in remarkable, far-reaching views.
