Port Isaac is known as the filming location for TV show, Doc Martin. It has an abundance of eateries and an eclectic mix of shops, while the neighbouring hamlet of Port Gaverne (0.5 miles) has a lovely, sheltered cove, which is great for paddling. Grab your surf board and visit the cascading waves at Polzeath (6 miles), before tucking into delicious seafood in Padstow, accessed via the ferry from Rock (8 miles). Join the superb South West Coast Path, which winds along the rugged coastline and passes spectacular views.
