Across the Pentire Headland, Polzeath (6.5 miles) has golden sands plus an enticing choice of restaurants and bars, while further south Rock (8.5 miles) sits across the Camel Estuary from foodie-favourite Padstow – take the ferry there or it’s a drive of 16 miles.
