Designed with modern minimalism – think crisp, clean whites and the occasional nautical accent – this holiday home offers a chic bolthole for four guests to escape to on North Cornwall’s dramatic coastline. You’ll find this property on a quiet country lane set between the villages of Pityme and Tredrizzick (both less than 0.5 miles away), peaceful destinations that sit within easy reach of the livelier towns of Rock (1.5 miles) and Padstow (3 miles), accessible via passenger ferry across the River Camel. It’s a true base for adventure, hosting four guests, with a versatile zip-and-link second bedroom that makes this space adaptable for friends, families or couples.

Finished to an exceptional standard, this two-storey cottage has been clearly designed with a stylish eye. Step into the lounge area, where a Scandi-style wood burner stands tall beside a wall-mounted Smart TV, creating the perfect space for relaxation. Beside it, a modern kitchen leads onto a spacious dining area and through French doors to an enclosed, private patio space. This outdoor area has a true Mediterranean feel when the sun shines, featuring a mature olive tree on its border. Back inside, guests can enjoy privacy on the first floor, as each bedroom offers its own bathroom. The master bedroom features a king-size bed beside a family bathroom with a deep, free-standing bath, and the second bedroom is a flexible twin/king-size with an en-suite shower room.

Nearby Padstow is one of the area’s most popular holiday destinations, renowned for its celebrity chef-owned restaurants and incredible foodie culture. Spend an afternoon exploring the town’s winding streets, lively harbour and the National Lobster Hatchery (3 miles), or rent bikes and begin an expedition along the Camel Trail. Staying on the opposite side of the river, head to the beautiful beach at Polzeath (2.5 miles) and admire the stunning scenery from Pentire Point (4.5 miles).

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 king-size, 1 twin zip-and-link (can be made up as a king-size on request)
  • 2 bathrooms – 1 bathroom with free-standing bath, separate shower and WC, 1 en-suite shower room with WC

We had a lovely stay at the house. Weather was fantastic after a couple of cool cloudy days at the start. It was a little further away from the facilities at Rock to be able to walk to everything but easy parking outside and quiet, despite being on a road. The garden is enclosed and peaceful, also a sun trap. Easy to travel around the area by caRead morer to local beaches and Wadebridge. Hide
