Located on the edge of Rock and backing onto unspoilt countryside, this reverse-level home provides a peaceful escape within easy reach of shops and amenities. Sleeping six guests with space for an extra two in the snug, this dog-friendly abode is ideal for larger families or holidays with friends. Featuring open-plan living, a media room and a gorgeous garden, it’s a great base to rest and recharge after adventurous days.

This two-storey holiday home is bright, spacious and finished to a high specification. Designed to make the most of the views, the main living areas are upstairs. Sink into deep sofas in the lounge, the modern wood burner crackling on chilly evenings. A few steps lead down to the kitchen/diner where sleek cabinets and integrated appliances make cooking a dream. Then gather around the dining table for meals with a view, patio doors open to the balcony to welcome the fresh sea air inside. Next door, a cosy snug and media room has a games console and TV to keep younger guests happy, plus a sofa bed sleeping two on request. Downstairs are three stylish bedrooms, two king-size each with an en-suite and doors to the rear garden, along with a twin with versatile zip-and-link beds and an en-suite. A shower room upstairs plus a utility room with a dog crate adds convenience. The rear garden is a delight with decking, rattan seating, a charcoal BBQ, a heated outdoor shower and a grassy garden. Off-road parking accommodates four cars, with a garage for storing boards or a small boat.

A scenic footpath leads to Porthilly Cove (1 mile) where you can follow the shoreline to Rock beach at low tide (around 2 miles). Rock’s high-end shops and eateries are within 0.5 miles or hop on the ferry to Padstow for seafood restaurants, beaches and a picturesque harbour. Walkers can pick up the South West Coast Path, heading north past Daymer Bay and the surfing hotspot of Polzeath to the Pentire Headland (4 miles).

Wonderful position for walking to amenities and beaches. Very quiet apart from some noise at times from the next door holiday makers. Clean property that could only really be improved with a few new cooking utensils, pans and a pair of new curtains in one of the bedrooms. Thank you for a lovely stay and welcome pack.
