Tucked on a quiet lane away from the hustle and bustle of Rock, this spacious holiday home is the coastal escape of dreams. Offering flexible accommodation for ten guests, it’s ideal for family gatherings or special occasions with your loved ones – including your canine companion. After lazy beach days and long coastal walks, return here to BBQ in the garden before unwinding in the hot tub.

Steps lead up from the driveway past palm trees and colourful planting to the front door, where underfloor heating welcomes you into a bright, spacious interior. With vast, comfy sofas, a modern wood burner and a Smart TV, the lounge invites relaxation after days of exploring. When tummies rumble, head to the open-plan kitchen/diner where a fun colour scheme and sleek built-in cabinets and appliances make light work of holiday self-catering. From here, patio doors open to the garden to let the fresh sea breeze in. Five beautifully presented bedrooms are arranged across two floors. Downstairs, there’s a king-size with an en-suite, a twin room and a cosy single with a truckle bed and door to the garden, plus the family bathroom. Upstairs is a second en-suite king-size that converts to a twin on request, plus a twin that becomes a super-king-size on request. Both rooms feature gently sloping ceilings. Savour a morning cuppa on the pretty front balcony or relax in the enclosed rear garden which has a lawn, a covered patio with outdoor dining and a gas BBQ, and a hot tub (available at additional cost). Guests benefit from private parking for one car plus additional on-street parking as available.

Follow a scenic trail to Porthilly Cove for paddling and dog walks; at low tide you can continue to Rock Beach (c. 2 miles). Rock’s upmarket restaurants, delis and shops are within 0.5 miles or hop on a passenger ferry to cross the River Camel to the foodie haven and harbour town of Padstow. Keen surfers will love Polzeath (2.5 miles).

Excellent accommodation for a large family group in such a desirable location. The company managing the property were excellent in addressing a few minor issues upon arrival.
