Set on a quiet lane on the outskirts of Rock, this attractive cottage makes a comfortable base for up to four guests exploring the north Cornish coast. The cottage combines contemporary touches with a warm, homely feel and comes complete with its own bubbling hot tub in the private garden.
Inside, the lounge has comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a flame-effect electric fire, making it a pleasant place to settle down after a day beside the coast. The adjoining kitchen/diner is smartly arranged and well equipped, with a second Smart TV, good cooking facilities and a farmhouse-style table positioned beside the window. Upstairs, two individually styled bedrooms comprise a super-king-size room and a double, each with its own Smart TV, built-in wardrobe and dressing table. The family bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, WC and underfloor heating. Outside, a private patio is furnished for meals and drinks in the fresh air, with a BBQ and hot tub adding to the appeal. Guests can also wander through the large shared garden, where mature trees surround a small pond. One covered off-road parking space is available a few metres from the cottage.
St Enodoc Golf Club is a mile away, while sheltered Porthilly Cove is half a mile from the door. Rock Beach is also within a mile, with Daymer Bay and Polzeath’s surfing beach both less than 2 miles away. The foot ferry from Rock crosses the River Camel to Padstow (2 miles), where you’ll find a working harbour, seafood restaurants and plenty to see.
