Live the coastal dream at this characterful stone cottage just a mile outside the picturesque seaside town of St Ives. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this is an ideal holiday hideaway for small families or groups of friends who are dreaming of exploring the outstanding beauty of the Cornish coast together. Spend happy days strolling along the glorious stretch of golden sand at Carbis Bay, and, in the evening, come home to your cottage’s pretty garden to unwind with your loved ones. Enjoy a glass of wine or two while the stars come out.

Park in your private spot and step inside this traditional granite terraced cottage. Make your way to the lounge to admire the boho-chic styling, exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and wood burner set in an eye-catching feature fireplace. Head to the farmhouse-style kitchen to whip up some dinner to share at the dining table. Alternatively, step out onto the patio to enjoy a relaxing al fresco dinner. Afterwards, take a seat on the lawn to stargaze (please note children must be supervised in the garden due to the drop from the lawn to the patio), or head back to the lounge to indulge in a glass of wine beside the crackling wood burner. At the end of the day, you’ll find two beautiful bedrooms on the first floor: a generous king-size room with garden views, and a charming twin room. A modern family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout.

Stroll along Porthminster Beach (1.5 miles) and soak up the beautiful views across St Ives Bay. Further afield, set off to explore Godrevy Lighthouse (10.5 miles), a striking 19th-century structure set on a rocky island. The National Trust coastline surrounding the lighthouse is abundant with wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for grey seals.

This cottage was a lovely place to stay! Cosy and had everything we needed. Although there was not enough firewood for our entire stay, I would recommend staying here. Very comfy beds and beautiful quiet location close to St Ives. One parking space available but the car park can be tight and busy. Overall we would highly recommend!

What a gorgeous place to stay. The cottage is full of character, lovely touches, a log fire and a really pretty enclosed garden. We loved our stay here. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard space and dressing tables. There are so many small touches that make this cottage a special place to stay. The walk into St Ives is Read moreabout 20 minutes down a lovely lane. The cottage is the perfect spot for visiting Cornwall. We will definitely be back. Hide

Wonderful gem, placed in the right location to be able to use as a base to visit many beaches locally. Great for walking and so very peaceful once you return to the cottage. Comfortable furnishings, beds are the best. So pleased we found this place. This review reflects the bookings seen on the site, fully booked most months !!!

A lovely, cosy cottage tucked away on the outskirts of St Ives. There is a track and dog walking fields directly behind the property with stunning views out over the coastline. The log burner in the living room is new and we loved the exposed stone walls and quirky character features of the property. Really comfy beds!
