Lying close to the River Fowey, this beautifully reimagined stationmaster's house features two charming garden spaces for you to unwind in at the end of a great day out.

Entering this sweet cottage, head up the stairs and directly into the open-plan nautically-themed lounge/kitchen/diner. The bright and cheerful lounge has a Smart TV and ample seating, with a sociable dining table over by the window. The stylishly arranged kitchen space occupies one corner, with plenty of equipment for rustling up favourite family meals. Heading back downstairs, you will have a choice of two en-suite bedrooms: a cosy twin and a generous king-size room with panelled walls. Outside, the front terrace is a pretty spot for dining alfresco, and there's also a cheerfully furnished patio garden with a lovely lawn. Bike storage is available and there’s private off-road parking for one car. Please note the property is unsuitable for children under 8 years as the staircase opens directly into the upper room.

Fowey has a choice of independent boutiques, galleries and restaurants, with the beautiful Readymoney Cove just a 1-mile scenic walk away. A ferry service is available 150 metres from the cottage, crossing the River Fowey so you can explore Looe (12 miles) and Polperro (7 miles). Popular attractions include the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Wheal Martyn Clay Works, all within 14 miles.

This is a lovely cottage, nicely decorated with all the facilities you need. It is in a brilliant location (the parking place is a real bonus) and is very peaceful.

A good comfortable modern holiday home in a great location, especially as it has a parking space ! Step access from the car park to the property & inside the stairs are quite steep for anyone with limited mobility. No views from the property, only onto the car park and other buildings , 15 mins walk into the centre of Fowey for all amenities.Read more Hide
